Error Reporting

Still get SQL error for apostrophies in this title

Posted 07/28/2006 11:21 AM

I used an apostrophie in my last title, and got that SQL syntax error.

This is the error I was originally reporting:

Attachment: scroll is not operational in the content section for IE. meaning it doesn't work.

Also, for those of you who would like a laugh and have IE. Open up "Lynx Canadensis" in internet explorer. Hang out for a few seconds, move around.

Found more IE stuff. The borders on the buttons do not work for the pbr help site. It's just one chunk of black. The only way to tell they are buttons would be to hover over them.

Also, for some reason my Clavin audio clip does not work in IE. That's probably because I don't really know shit about coding for different browsers. If I did, the Lynx Canadensis thing would work in Mozilla too. Right now, the Lynx Canadensis thing only works in IE and netscape.

the "About Half Moon" line doesn't show up on the Bell Deep site either. In IE, that is.

nor does the "A Thousand Others" line show up in IE (i.e. the about line).

Okay, After some more random checking, the profile title doesn't show up on any of the sites in IE.

Oh, about that Clavin audio thing. It still works, it just doesn't automatically play and the hidden="yes" command apparently doesn't work for IE, as a little media player appears at the bottom of the screen.

Well I tried to make my little surprise Mozilla compatible with disastrous results.

Jason, can you fix something for me. I tried to cheat with the code, and payed for it. I can no longer edit the "head" content, because somehow, I pulled up all the stuff from underneath the content box, and put it into my word Box! in other words, I can't save changes because I eliminated that button on the screen.

Just erase everything in the content box, I can easily start over. I saved the code for My Lynx Header.

Damn, I had something cool, then I had to go and fuck it up.

BTW, the code I entered in completely messes up my page in IE.

What page type were you adding a title to when you got that apostrophe error?  I need to know so I know which script to fix.

I wasn't adding a page.

I typed in apostrophies in the "topic" title in this forum. That is where I got the error...here, on this particular page.

Got it.  This one if fixed.  Let me know if you notice it on any other page types.

I HATE apostrophes!
