Main Background

The Main Background is the area on your screen represented on this page by the light grey image with "Main Background" in green.

If you would like just a general color as your main background, click this icon. When you do, a screen like this should pop up:



You can choose a color from the palette and it will automatically put the HTML color code into the color box. If you know the specific HTML code for a color you like, you can also just type that into the box.

Picture Backgrounds:

If you have a photo you would like to use as the main background, click the browse button next to the "Image:" box. This will take you to a popup window for File Manager.

Click this little green arrow next to the filename of the picture you want to use. Then, the filename for the photo will automatically load into the "Image:" box.

Then, your photo will be the background. The following options can be used with your photo background:

Repeat option:

The repeat option is in the event that the picture you chose as a background is not big enough to fill the whole screen.

repeat: if you want the picture to repeat over the entire screen.

If you choose any of the following three, the remainder of the page will be the color of your background:

repeat x: if you only want a picture that repeats itself in a strip horizontally.

repeat y: if you only want a picture to repeat in a vertical strip.

no-repeat: if you only want the photo to appear once.

Position option:

If you choose a photo as a background, the postion option lets you indicate where on the screen the photo should be placed.








Attachment option:

The attachment option let's you choose how the picture behaves when the viewer scrolls.

fixed: cause the picture to remain still when the viewer scrolls.

scroll- the picture will move with the scroll from the viewer.
