Files
The File Manager is one of the most convienient features of PageBuildr. You will be using the File Manager often to upload photos, mp3s, pdfs, and flash files.
When you click on the "Files" button, the file manager will pop up and it looks like this (note that when uploading through other pages, you are automtically brought into one of these folders) :
Each PageBuildr member is allocated 15 MB of memory to use for whatever files they wish to upload.
Space Used: tells you how much memory you have used out of the 15 MB.
When you upload files into Pagebuildr, they are automatically orgainized into the five folders labeled File, Flash, Image, covers, and sounds.
File-This is where saved documents such as PDF's you upload to use on a page.
Flash-You can upload images that are flash files such as animated gifs and other types of media files.
Image-When you upload an image into the photo gallery or word box, they are automatically put into this folder.
covers-If a user uploads an image to use as the display image for an audio clip, the image is placed in this folder.
sounds-When a user uploads an audio file onto their site, the file is automatically put in this folder.
Uploading:
To upload a file from your computer, click "Browse" to choose from the files on your computer. Once you select a file, click "upload file" you will get a confirmation screen if the file has been uploaded succesfully, which looks like the image below:
The main area for uploading a file is at the bottom of the File Manager screen, but you can get there quickly by selecting this link located at the top of the File Manager table.
Inside the File Manager folder:

There will be a list of files to choose from.
If you are a selecting a file for use while building a page, clicking the green check mark will automtically insert that file. (Note: this will not appear if you are not in the process of selecting a file)
If you wish to delete a file from your site (to conserve your memory), click this icon.
One last thing to mention is that if you wish to create a page in which you know you will using a lot of files, you can upload them all into your file manager at once. Thus, you will not have to upload each time you want to insert a picture, document, flash file or song, you can just select from the list.
