2008 Hunter’s Meeting

-         Meeting was called to order at 3:24 pm on Sep 27th, 2008

 

-         New Business

 

o   Discussion was held about new gates at the road and entrances to Cedar Beam.

 

o   Hunters agreed that carpet would be best to use on the shack floor since it absorbs melting snow rather than making a slippery mess, Dustin will look for carpet.

 

o   We will decide what to do with the old wood stove by spring.

 

o   Barry volunteered to buy groceries this year since Barny will likely be on a rafting trip this hunting season.

 

o   Treasury sits at $32.09, dues will remain at $35.00.

 

o   Possible new guests this year, with the addition of the new bunks we decided guests would be a good idea since it can get pretty scarce during the week and we can always use more drivers.

 

o   Guests will be allowed to keep deer they shoot, but will not receive shares of other members deer.

 

o   From now on hunting meetings will be members only closed door meetings to avoid any distractions.

 

o   The hunters’ opinion is that we should clean up the old tractor shed and rock pile so we can build a new shed.

 

o   A new committee was picked this year consisting of Gary, John and Dylan.

 

o   Beer List 2008: Gary, Desmond, Dustin, Joe, Barry, then Barny if he makes it.

 

o   Desmond recommended that we could build an upright gun rack in the bunk room to avoid the sometimes overcrowded gun racks by the door. Everyone decided this was a good idea, however we would still like to keep the old gun racks as well.

 

o   Milt donated $20.00 for gas.

 

o   Meeting adjourned at 4:15 pm.   

2007 Meeting Minutes

- October 6, 2007

-Meeting was called to order at 1500hrs by Joe Bell.

-A motion was made by Barry to make Danny a full member, motion was seconded by Desmond, motion passed.

-dues remain at $35.00

-easment issues were discussed again, thank you John C.

- Barny will be taking care of groceries again, Thank You Barny!

-Thank you to Barry, Desmond, Brandon and everyone else who built the new outhouse.

-possible repairs to floor and door were discussed. A motion was made by Gary to have a work weekend at the shack on Mother's Day weekend of 2008, motion was seconded by John C, motion passed.  Floor and stove repairs will be made at this time and a meeting of the owners will be held.

-in attendence were: Joe, Desmond, Vern, Barny, Dustin, Dylan, Milt, Gary, Barry, John C.

-members not in attendence: Andy, Danny, Pete

-Motion made by Dustin and seconded by Milt to adjourn meeting, motion passes.
