Jason: you need to use the<=IE6 css hack to set the border-width to 0px so that the border doesn't show in IE 6 and below.  See below:

Posted 03/20/2007 8:06 PM That's set so wide so that if you move the mouse off the menu items, it still stays visible.  It's supposed to be "transparent"-colored, but IE 6 doesn't seem to understand that, so it shows as some random gray-ish color.  IE7 and FF, and Opera (I think) get it right and have a wide transparent-colored border.	car912
