Internet Security Challenges and the Use of Antivirus

on 12/23/2009 2:25 PM

It may be a well known truth that no computer in this world is totally safe from the the majority of widely out there harmful threats. Net Security has been at stake. Everyday a massive variety of malicious programs are developed and updated on the Internet. The main target being to damage the computer system on that they are installed.

Maintaining confidentiality, integrity, and availability of personal knowledge of any user is most important challenges of the internet security.

Protect Your Data: Second of all, the main focus should be on the safety of your personal data. There are some straightforward steps to keeping your data files secure.  Email: I suggest not opening email that comes from distrusted or unknown sources. Many viruses, Trojan horses, etc., come via email. Attachments: This is a basic security tip but millions of individuals don't listen. Don't open attachments that look suspicious or have unexpected subjects, even if they are from somebody you will know. Many worms return from Email attachments and rapidly unfold throughout the web and to your friends via the contact list in your Email program.

Use Net Security Software: I advocate every PC owner to take a position in an Net Security Software suite (most antivirus vendors have this type of security suite accessible). These software bundles have antivirus, firewall, antispyware, IM Security and parental control programs that fight against viruses, alternative malicious code and crazy web hackers.
