The .357 String Band

07/05/2008 9:00 PM

The .357 String Band Keep it raw real and dirty on and off stage. And have only begun to show us how much they have to offer."
- Hank Williams III

""One the most glorious bands the LORD ever created. They make a sound more pleasing than the screams of a helpless woman."
- Lonesome Wyatt
Those Poor Bastards

"You guys were truly amazing to watch and hear.A true orgasm to my senses!!! thanks....great fuckin show!!!"
Debi Diamond
Adult Film Superstar

"The .357 String Band combines old-time pickin' with a Punk Rock intensity that is hard to match. Of all the bands I have ever played with, they are among my favorites. Check them out while you still can!"
- JB Beverley
JB Beverley and the Wayward Drifters

"The .357 String Band gives you the good kind of creeps...that oddly pleasant chill that comes whenever someone walks over your grave. *Shudder*."
- Col. JD Wilkes
Those Legendery Shack*Shackers

".357 String Band is one of the most powerfull provocative new bands to come out in four years...tantalizing yet brutally sensual....amazing yet....how do you say in english...stunning!"
- Bob Wayne
Bob Wayne and the Outlaw Carnies

"These boys come in with tattoos and piercings and long hair, and you think that maybe grandpa in the back of the room is going to hate it, but guess what - grandpa loves it and so do I, because .357 may have punk rock style, but their musical heart is very traditional."
- The Reverend Peyton
Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band

"If Hank Williams were alive today, he would probably listen to punk (like his grandson does), flirt with the idea of readily available street-drugs and be a big fan of the hillbilly/punk/Americana of Milwaukee's .357 String Band. An obvious punk influence driven by banjo, fiddle and mandolin creates a sound that they like to call amphetamine-fueled mountain music. The best Thing about these guys is their live show. Hoe-down meets throw-down in an all-out frenzy that matches up against any snake worshipping Christian revival tent show ever staged to spook an audience into a glazed-eye state of euphoria. Slip on yer boots and wash out your wife beater T-shirt" ----Lane Klozier---- (Maximum Ink Magazine)

Stealin Strings

A crisp bed of Bluegrass garnished with fresh organic vegitables and Funky Flavorful low-end dressing. Southern Fried Rock with a twist of Reggae. Served with a side of You-know-what-I'm-talkin'-'bout. It's toe-tappin' and finger-snappin' good.

Pancreatic Charity Golf Outing

The Green Room Open

July 27th, 2008

Did you know that in America, one in three women and one in two men will be diagnosed with some form of cancer in their lifetime?  Among cancer, pancreatic cancer is the 4th leading cause of death in the United States and the third leading cause of death among men ages 40-59.  For all stages of pancreatic cancer combined, the five year survival rate is only 5% - the lowest survival rate of all major cancers.   Despite these facts, pancreatic cancer receives the least amount of federal research funding of any major cancer.

The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network is the leader in the fight to defeat pancreatic cancer.  We are the only national organization creating hope in a comprehensive way, through research, patient support, community outreach and advocacy for a cure.
